Fitzgerald signed a one-year contract extension with the Cardinals in November, but said he would still contemplate retirement at the end of the season.
The ageless veteran went over 1,000 receiving yards in 2017 for the third year in a row and the ninth time in his career. He sits third on the NFL's all-time receiving list, needing 390 yards to move past Terrell Owens for second place.
Fitzgerald, who will turn 35 before the start of the 2018 season, has spent his entire career with the Cardinals.
