Any question as to whether Shaun White was the greatest male snowboarder of all time was erased on Wednesday, as the American star won his third gold medal in the halfpipe with an epic final run at PyeongChang 2018.

With his luscious red locks and incredible catalog of tricks, White became a man who transcended his sport and became one of the most recognizable Olympic athletes on the planet.

That notoriety led to people from all corners of the sports world taking to Twitter to congratulate him on the win.
