Report: Giants denied permission to interview Vikings QB coach for OC job

The New York Giants' request to interview - and potentially hire - Vikings quarterbacks coach Kevin Stefanski as their offensive coordinator has been denied by Minnesota, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

The Giants have already hired away former Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur as their new head coach, but have reportedly been refused a chance at double-dipping.

While the Giants remain without an offensive coordinator, the Vikings recently hired Philadelphia Eagles quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo to fill their OC hole.
