The opening ceremony of PyeongChang 2018 went down on Friday, and for the second Olympics in a row, Pita Taufatofua stole the show with his shirtless appearance.
The Tongan flag bearer burst onto the international scene for his oiled-up, shirtless appearance at the opening ceremony of Rio 2016, and repeated the performance despite the frigid temperatures in South Korea.
While it was Taufatofua stealing the show, some people confused the cross-country skier for Pita Taumoepenu of the San Francisco 49ers. The linebacker, who was born in the United State but grew up in Tonga, was getting tagged in tweets about the flag bearer during the ceremony.
