UC Davis' Chima Moneke: Suspended indefinitely
Moneke did not play Saturday against Long Beach State after getting suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules, the Davis Enterprise reports.
Analysis:
Coach Jim Les made the decision and told the Enterprise that it was not a difficult one. The violation apparently took place at the team's hotel in Woodland Hills. The Aggies were able to outlast Long Beach State in double-overtime without Moneke who leads the team with 18.4 points and 9.6 rebounds. The 6-9 senior's status before the first-place battle with UC-Santa Barbara on Thursday is up in the air.
