Stuck between a rock and a hard place, NFL agent Bob LaMonte is reportedly pledging his allegiance to Indianapolis Colts general manager Chris Ballard.
LaMonte, who represents both Ballard and New England Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, will terminate his relationship with the latter, a source told Dan Graziano of ESPN.
On Tuesday, McDaniels spurned the Colts and their head coaching job - after they officially announced hiring him - in order to retain his role with the Patriots.
Many expect McDaniels' decision will discourage any future head coaching offers from outside New England.
