Hall of Fame candidate Isaac Bruce apparently doesn't need to be hopeful of his chances of being selected to the 2018 class on Saturday night - he already considers himself in.
"I feel in my mind I've always been a Hall of Famer from Day One since 1994," Bruce said, according to Nick Shook of NFL.com. "I went out with the production, showed what I can do and I was satisfied. I'm sitting here honestly satisfied that I am who I am and that's all by the grace of God, man."
Bruce amassed totals of 15,208 receiving yards, 91 touchdowns, and 1,024 receptions on 1,770 targets over a 16-year career with the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers. He was selected to four Pro Bowls, including a three-year stretch from 1999-2001.
