Justin Timberlake denied he'll be bringing out old bandmates *NSYNC or Janet Jackson during his Super Bowl LII halftime performance, but it appears he does have something special up his sleeve.
Citing sources from inside Timberlake's rehearsal, TMZ reports the show will feature a hologram of Prince to honor the late musician in his hometown of Minneapolis.
Prince's Super Bowl XLI halftime performance is widely considered one of the best ever.
When asked Thursday at a press conference if he was planning an *NSYNC reunion, Timberlake responded, "Well ... no."
The pop star was also asked about Prince's influence, and called him "the greatest all-around musician I could think of in popular culture."
