The Carolina Panthers are adding to their list of potential general manager candidates.
The team announced that it's interviewing former Detroit Lions GM Martin Mayhew on Friday.
Mayhew worked with the Lions from 2008-15. He proceeded to hold the director of football operations role with the New York Giants and is presently a senior personnel executive with the San Francisco 49ers.
The Panthers interviewed Jimmy Raye III on Thursday and are interviewing Lake Dawson on Friday. However, interim GM Marty Hurney is considered the favorite to land the job on a full-time basis.
