We won't have to wait long for a decision regarding Larry Fitzgerald's future.

The longtime Arizona Cardinals receiver told Rich Eisen of the NFL Network on Super Bowl Sunday that he'll make a decision "in a week or so" on whether to return for a 15th season or retire, according to network reporter Ian Rapoport.

Fitzgerald added that he's "excited about what the future holds."

On the field, Fitzgerald remains at the top of his game. He recorded his third consecutive season of 100-plus catches and added 1,156 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 2017. He was far and away the Cardinals' top receiving threat. Tight end Jermaine Gresham ranked second on the team in catches with 33 and J.J. Nelson was second in yards with 508.

The team recently hired Steve Wilks as their new head coach after the retirement of Bruce Arians.

Fitzgerald may also be "excited" about his off-field prospects, however. He's a world traveler and will have no shortage of opportunities once his playing career comes to an end.
