Patriots superfan Mark Wahlberg wouldn't mind if Eagles won Super Bowl
He's one of the New England Patriots' most famous fans, but Mark Wahlberg wouldn't be crushed to see the team lose Super Bowl LII.
The actor, who portrayed former Eagle Vince Papale in the 2006 movie "Invincible," revealed he was just as happy to see Philadelphia advance to the game during an appearance on "Not Just Sports," a podcast hosted by NFL Network's Rich Eisen and his wife, Suzy Shuster.
"How excited I am that the Eagles are in the Super Bowl, having played Vince Papale, played an Eagle, having become an honorary Philadelphian, welcomed by the Philadelphia fans as one of their own. I really take pride in that," Wahlberg said. "I've made five movies in Philadelphia and I predicted the Eagles would make it to the Super Bowl. It's my Patriots and the Eagles and I couldn't be happier. I'm very excited. It's win-win."

Wahlberg is currently shooting a movie in Colombia, however, he said he hopes to convince director Peter Berg to give him some time off so he can attend the Super Bowl with his family.
