By Rodney Hood's estimation, he has less than a day left in his tenure with the Utah Jazz.

"My gut feeling is that I won't be here by (Thursday's trade) deadline," Hood told The Vertical's Shams Charania. "I've enjoyed my time here, but I've felt isolated the past month and I would not be surprised if I was moved."

Hood's name has been surfacing in trade rumors since last month. Five teams have been reported to be interested in the shooting guard, while as many as 15 franchises have called the Jazz about him, sources told the Salt Lake Tribune's Tony Jones.

"I'm very excited about my future, about where I see myself," Hood said. "I feel this has been my best year. Going forward, what I can accomplish; I always have seen myself playing in the playoffs, playing deep, and winning. I want to be part of that and feel that. But if I stay in Utah, I want to keep performing, keep showing that I can lead on and off the court."

The NBA trade deadline is at 3 p.m. ET Thursday.

The 25-year-old Hood is having his best statistical season but has still missed 15 games due to a leg injury. The Duke product has only played more than 59 games in a season once in his four-year career.

Still, his upside remains appealing as a shooter who can defend - a coveted prototype in today's NBA. As a member of the 2014 draft class, Hood is due a qualifying offer for next season.
