Museum of American Revolution in Philadelphia renames Patriots Gallery
One of the galleries inside Philadelphia's Museum of the American Revolution has undergone a name change ahead of Super Bowl LII.
The museum announced Thursday that its Patriots Gallery will be known as Eagles Gallery through Super Bowl Sunday.
"Philadelphia first became the home of the underdog in the American Revolution when it took on the mighty British empire to fight for independence," museum president and CEO Michael Quinn said, according to Julia Hatmaker of Penn Live. "We all know how that fight turned out."
Any visitors wearing Eagles gear will receive a $2 discount off the price of admission. Quinn added that the museum will also extend the offer to Patriots supporters "out of sympathy towards those deluded fans who are doomed to return home in humiliation and defeat."
