It's a time-honored tradition.
The mayors of the two cities represented in the Super Bowl typically engage in a friendly wager and this Super Bowl will be no different.
Philadelphia mayor Jim Kenney has agreed to a wager from Brockton mayor Bill Carpenter.
If the New England Patriots win Super Bowl LII next Sunday, Philadelphia's iconic statue of Rocky Balboa will have to don a Patriots jersey. On the flip side, if the Philadelphia Eagles win the game, the statue of undefeated boxer Rocky Marciano in Brockton will be outfitted in Eagles gear.
It's being deemed a Rocky vs. Rocky bet.
