Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen was named Comeback Player of the Year as part of Saturday's NFL Honors.
Allen tore his ACL during the 2016 season opener, missing the entire campaign after signing a four-year, $45-million extension in June of 2016.
The Chargers' star rebounded valiantly in 2017, recording 102 receptions for 1,393 yards and six touchdowns, earning his first Pro Bowl selection. Allen finished third in receiving yards behind Antonio Brown and Julio Jones.
Allen will continue to feature as the Chargers' top receiving option for the foreseeable future.
