New York Giants co-owner and president John Mara is confident in his ability to re-sign Odell Beckham Jr., but first he wants to see how his star wideout gets along with new head coach Pat Shurmur.

"We'll get something done at some point. I want Pat to sit down with him and them to have an understanding of how we're going to act going forward. I have a lot of confidence that that's going to work out well. But we'll see," Mara said, according to Tom Rock of Newsday Sports.

Beckham has already tweeted out his support of his new head coach.

Beckham is signed for the 2018 season at a value of nearly $8.5 million, but he's said he wants to be the NFL's highest-paid player on his next deal.
