Bud Light still plans to buy beer for Philly if Eagles win Super Bowl
Bud Light hasn't forgotten about the promise it made to Philadelphia.
In August, Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson said he planned to buy a beer for "everybody" if the team won the Super Bowl. Bud Light was quick to get on board, tweeting, "win it all and the party is on us."
CBS Philly recently reached out to the company to see if it still plans on footing the bill, and a spokesperson provided this response:
"Bud Light has not forgotten about our commitment to Lane Johnson, the Eagles, and the city of Philadelphia. We will be sharing plans soon, but in the interest of not jinxing the team ahead of their upcoming games, we are not going to unveil any plans at this time."
A well-deserved victory, @Eagles of Philadelphia! Heed this message from your king before the next great battle. #DillyDilly #PhillyPhilly #SBLII pic.twitter.com/xqywT0D4AK
