Sharks' Dell near perfect on the weekend in relief of Jones
The loss of No. 1 goaltender Martin Jones did little to slow down the red-hot San Jose Sharks.
The club was perfect in back-to-back games on the weekend with wins over the Pittsburgh Penguins and Anaheim Ducks, thanks in large part to the play of backup netminder Aaron Dell.
Dell had himself a weekend, playing both games while making a combined 64 saves on 67 shots. The impressive play is nothing new for the 28-year-old, who's been stellar over his last dozen games.
Aaron Dell is 10-0-2 in his last 12 decisions. Per @EliasSports, he is the first #SJSharks goalie to have 12 straight decisions without a regulation loss since Evgeni Nabokov in Oct.-Nov. 2009 (9-0-3).

Jones remains day to day with a lower-body injury. With Dell playing the way he is, there's no need for the Sharks to rush their starting goalie back into action.
