Bruce Arians, who recently stepped down as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, is interested in becoming a color commentator on Monday Night Football.

Arians referred to the gig, vacated a couple of weeks ago by Oakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden, as "the dream job" during a conversation with ESPN's Josh Weinfuss.

The 65-year-old noted he's already interviewed with FOX and NFL Network, and has an interview upcoming with CBS. He said he's open to a role in either the studio or the booth.

Arians was known during his coaching career for expressing colorful opinions and was a two-time NFL coach of the year. He posted a 58-33-1 record with the Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts.
