Lamar Jackson: Talk of moving to wide receiver 'annoying'

Lamar Jackson is undoubtedly one of the most prolific quarterbacks in recent college football memory, but there are plenty who doubt he can take that to the next level.

As the former Louisville pivot prepares for April's draft, analysts have questioned his pro prospects, with ESPN's Bill Polian even suggesting Jackson should be a receiver in the NFL due to his incredible speed and running ability.

Jackson, who threw for 69 touchdowns and ran for 50 scores in his Louisville career, is getting tired of people claiming a positional change would be best for him.

"It is annoying because quarterback is all I played all my life," Jackson told Andrea Adelson of ESPN. "People look at my legs and they see I can make big plays, but they don't really see my arm, and I make big plays with my arm. I scored more touchdowns with my arm than my legs so ... "

While he is certainly one of the most electrifying athletes in the draft, Jackson showed great progress as a passer throughout his final collegiate season. He completed 59 percent of his passes for 3,660 yards and 27 touchdowns, all better numbers than ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper's top-ranked quarterback Josh Allen.
