New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton let himself enjoy his team's brief lead with under 30 seconds to play in last Sunday's divisional-round game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Payton took a moment to give Vikings' fans a taste of their own medicine by demonstrating the famed 'Skol' clap they had been celebrating with for much of the game.

Asked about the premature celebration on Tuesday, Payton admitted to having fun with the fans.

"There was just a group of fans. It was good playoff fun," he said, according to Kevin Patra of NFL.com.

Payton's joy was shortlived, as Stefon Diggs' 61-yard touchdown in the dying seconds of the game would propel the Vikings to the NFC Championship Game with a 29-24 victory over the Saints.
