New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton was predictably reeling from Sunday's stunning 29-24 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs torched the Saints defense for a 61-yard touchdown with the clock expiring, completing one of the most stunning finishes to a game in recent memory. Saints safety Marcus Williams missed the tackle on Diggs, allowing the Vikings star to scamper to the end zone untouched.

"This will take a while to get over," Payton told reporters during his postgame press conference.

The Saints were one of the NFL's most exciting teams during the 2017 season, led by the two-pronged rushing attack of Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram. Payton will likely be ruing his team's loss for the rest of the winter, while the Vikings square off against the top-seeded Philadelphia Eagles next weekend.
