Larry Fitzgerald's future is up in the air, but the fact he's the last remaining member of the Arizona Cardinals' old guard apparently won't affect his plans.

The Cardinals' star pass-catcher said Friday that the retirement of head coach Bruce Arians and quarterback Carson Palmer won't have any impact on when he also decides to walk away from football, according to James Palmer of NFL Network.

The future Hall of Famer could be motivated to return for at least one more year, with two milestones in reach. Fitzgerald needs just 92 catches and 390 yards to move into second on both the all-time receptions and receiving yards lists - both achievable marks for the upcoming season.

Arizona has yet to hire a new head coach and is likely to be in the quarterback market this offseason, whether via free agency or the draft.
