The New York Giants will meet with Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur to finalize his hiring as their head coach, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
A press conference has yet to be announced.
Shurmur was promoted from tight ends coach to offensive coordinator after Norv Turner resigned his post in November 2016. The 52-year-old has previous head coaching experience with the Cleveland Browns (2011-12), recording a cumulative 9-23 mark.
Minnesota was eliminated by the Philadelphia Eagles in Sunday's NFC Championship Game.
New York fired head coach Ben McAdoo and general manager Jerry Reese on Dec. 4.
