The Tennessee Titans have offered head coach Mike Mularkey a contract extension, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
The Titans were eliminated from the playoffs by the New England Patriots on Saturday in what was their first postseason appearance since 2008.
Controlling owner Amy Adams Strunk released a statement on Jan. 7, offering a vote of confidence for Mularkey, who has posted a cumulative 20-21 record in three seasons.
Mularkey previously stated he was unsure about his job security after the Titans defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 22-21 in the wild-card round.
