Report: Dolphins to hire Dowell Loggains as OC

The Miami Dolphins are hiring Dowell Loggains as their new offensive coordinator, a source told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Loggains was the Chicago Bears' offensive coordinator in 2016 and 2017. He will replace Clyde Christensen, who's likely to remain with Miami in a different role.
Dolphins head coach Adam Gase will be reunited with Loggains, as the two worked side by side with the Bears in 2015 as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, respectively. Loggains was fired from the Bears along with the rest of Jon Fox's staff following the 2017 season.
The Dolphins finished with the 25th-ranked offense in 2017.
