Pittsburgh Steelers offensive coordinator Todd Haley suffered a hip injury on New Year's Eve after reportedly being shoved outside a bar, according to Ian Rapoport from NFL Network.

Haley is expected back for the Steelers' first playoff game on Jan. 14.

The Steelers released the following statement:

Offensive coordinator Todd Haley was injured in a fall Sunday evening following our Week 17 game. We expect he will return to the office this week to participate in preparations for our upcoming playoff game.

A Pittsburgh Police Department spokesperson released the following statement to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

"The scuffle was quickly ended. Todd Haley was not involved nor injured."

It was later clarified that police stated Haley wasn't injured inside the bar, while the original report stated that he'd been injured outside the bar.

The Steelers secured a first-round bye.
