Jonathan Stewart has been ruled inactive with a back injury for the Carolina Panthers season finale against the Atlanta Falcons Sunday.
According to the team website, Stewart's back tightened up on Sunday morning and the decision was made to keep him out of action after pregame warmups.
Stewart has played in every game this season, rushing for 680 yards and six touchdowns. With the veteran on the sidelines, expect an increased workload for Christian McCaffrey and Cameron Artis-Payne.
