Michael Bennett shares articles hinting time with Seahawks running out
A changing of the guard may be forthcoming in Seattle, and it may be coming sooner than anticipated.
The Seahawks are preparing to play in a must-win Week 17 game hoping to garner the last playoff spot in the NFC, but defensive end Michael Bennett spent some time on the day before the big game sharing an article suggesting his time in Seattle could be up.
The article suggested that several notable Seahawks could be playing their final game with the team on Sunday.

In the article, Bennett is quoted as saying, "I think things are going to be different. That's a part of the NFL. The NFL is a transitional sport and transitional teams.
"Every year, there's a new transition and new guys and new coaches and new staffs. It's about who can win and how fast they can win, and it's about 'Can we get a guy cheaper than the guy in front of him?' This is bound to happen and everything has a shelf life, and us as players, we have shelf lives and our team together has a shelf life."
Bennett signed a three-year extension in 2016 and is currently scheduled to become a free agent in 2021.
