Toronto Raptors forward Serge Ibaka has been suspended for one game due to an altercation with a team staff member, the Raptors announced Friday.
The altercation took place after the Raptors' loss in Oklahoma City on Dec. 27.
"Both parties have apologized," team president Masai Ujiri said in a statement. "We've discussed this internally as a team, and we won't be discussing it any further. Now we're focused on moving forward together, and we look forward to having Serge back in the lineup."
There is no word on the specifics of the altercation or which staff member was involved.
Ibaka will miss Friday night's tilt against the Atlanta Hawks.
Although the Raptors have dropped their last two games, Ibaka has been enjoying a much-improved December. He's averaging 16.8 points and 6.7 rebounds in his last 12 appearances.
