Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas, who's under contract for 2018 at a base salary of $8.5 million, according to Spotrac, chased down Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett after Sunday's 21-12 Seahawks victory to deliver a personal message:

Thomas shook hands with Garrett and said: "If y'all have the chance, come get me."

The Seahawks safety later clarified his comments to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times.

"I've always been a Cowboys fan growing up," he said. "But the biggest thing when I said 'come get me' was I don't literally mean 'come get me now.' I'm still in the prime of my career, I still wanna be here. But when Seattle kicks me to the curb, please, the Cowboys, come get me. That's the only place I'd rather be when I get kicked to the curb,"

This comes one week after a reported altercation between Thomas and Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner.

Thomas and Wagner are the two biggest names left on the Seahawks' current defensive roster following season-ending injuries to defensive backs Kam Chancellor and Richard Sherman.
