Todd Gurley is separating himself from the pack.
The Los Angeles Rams star running back has posted his two most impressive performances of the season in the last two weeks - and possibly his career.
| Opponent | Rush Yards | Rush TDs | Catches | Rec. Yards | Rec. TDs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| at SEA | 152 | 3 | 3 | 28 | 1 |
| at TEN | 118 | 0 | 10 | 158 | 2 |
Gurley has now amassed 1,305 yards on the ground this year, grabbing a hold of the rushing race. Le'Veon Bell looks to regain the title on Christmas Day. Gurley is also the first player this season to break 2,000 scrimmage yards (2,093) and leads the NFL in total touchdowns scored with 19.
With injuries to Antonio Brown and Carson Wentz, the MVP race has thinned out. Tom Brady looks like Gurley's closest competition, but as the Rams' runner heated up in December, the veteran passer notched an interception in each of his last four games.
