"This was such a difficult decision I had to make for me and my family. Thank you all for an amazing three years at the best university there is. Lubbock will always have a special place in my heart and I will always call Lubbock home."
Coutee finished the season as the No. 2 leading receiver in the country, hauling in 93 catches for 1,429 yards and 10 touchdowns. He capped off his collegiate career with an 11-catch, 187-yard performance in the Red Raiders' 38-34 defeat to South Florida in the Birmingham Bowl.
