New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees became the third player to reach 70,000 career NFL passing yards during Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Brees joins Peyton Manning and Brett Favre in this exclusive club. Manning finished his career with 71,940 yards, while Favre ended with 71,838. Brees is expected to surpass both during the 2018 season.

Warren Moon is also ahead of Brees for most yards in professional football history, having thrown for 49,325 yards in the NFL and 21,228 in the Canadian Football League (CFL).

The Saints veteran is enjoying another outstanding season. Prior to Sunday's game, Brees completed 71.8 percent of his passes for 3,850 yards, 21 touchdowns, and seven interceptions.
