Watch: Cowboys' Stephen Jones gets emotional watching son win Texas state title

Dallas Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones attended his son John Stephen Jones' UIL Class 5A Division I state championship game between Dallas Highland Park and Houston Manvel at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Jones' Highland Park team won 53-49 to claim back-to-back state championships, according to Gil Brandt of NFL.com.

Jones threw for 552 yards and four touchdowns without an interception on 55 pass attempts, completing 35. It was a record amount of passing yards an a state title game of any classification, according to Michael Florek of Sports Day HS.

It was Jones' 16-yard touchdown to Cade Saustad with 34 seconds remaining that sealed the victory for Highland Park.
