The star of college football isn't too big for the Senior Bowl.
Oklahoma quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Baker Mayfield has accepted an invitation to play in the pre-draft showcase game.

It's a rare occurrence. Former Florida star Tim Tebow was the last Heisman winner to participate in the Senior Bowl when he did so in 2007, according to NFL.com.
The announcement comes before Mayfield leads his team against Georgia in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day in the first leg of the College Football Playoff.
Mayfield's developed something of a bad-boy image. This season alone, he's had to apologize for planting a team flag at the 50-yard line of an opponent's field and for grabbing his crotch in the direction of an opposing sideline.
He's attracted comparisons to former Heisman winner Johnny Manziel for both his on-field play and off-field antics. Agreeing to be coached up at the Senior Bowl could help him shed that label and improve his draft stock.
