The Seattle Seahawks have been fined $100,000 for failing to follow the concussion protocol with Russell Wilson during a Week 10 win over the Arizona Cardinals, the NFL and NFL Players Association announced Thursday.
The star quarterback took a shot to the chin and was ordered to the sidelines by the referee, but only briefly entered the medical tent before re-entering the game without being evaluated.
The Seahawks' coaching and medical staff will also be required to attend remedial training regarding the protocol.
