A day after the Green Bay Packers' Davante Adams took to social media to call out Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis for headhunting, the wide receiver took umbrage with another player decided to join the conversation.

Washington Redskins linebacker Zach Brown responded to Adams' comments on Twitter, saying he will always headhunt and suggested Adams step away from the game.

Adams didn't take too kindly to Brown's threat, requesting Brown speak to him in person and questioning his reputation. It led to a brief back-and-forth Tuesday between the veteran players.

Sunday was the second time that Adams was the victim of a hit to the head this season. On Sept. 28, Adams was knocked out and concussed by Chicago Bears linebacker Danny Trevathan, who was subsequently suspended two games.

For his part, Davis was also handed a two-game suspension.
