Vikings' Barr still getting hate mail for injuring Rodgers

Though Aaron Rodgers is returning to action Sunday, the man who put him on the shelf hasn't been forgiven by the Green Bay fan base.

Minnesota Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr delivered the Week 6 hit to the Packers quarterback that resulted in a broken collarbone and he hasn't heard the end of it.

On Saturday, Barr showed Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press a Twitter message he had just received that read, "I hope you tear your ACL."

"I don't feel it's going to stop. So it kind of is what it is," Barr said of the non-stop notifications.

Barr and Rodgers are scheduled to meet again next week two days before Christmas.

The rivals haven't been sharing pleasant messages, as Rodgers alleged that Barr gave him the finger after the play, while the Viking defender said he only responded to a profane rant from the Packer QB.
