Mariota got an earful from his mom over apparent rudeness during presser
Few professional athletes are as polite as Marcus Mariota.
The Tennessee Titans quarterback started his Wednesday media availability by apologizing for how he acted after Sunday's 12-7 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.
"Real quick, I want to say I am sorry for the way (I) handled the press conference,” Mariota said, according to team writer Jim Wyatt. "I know not everybody that was there is here. But I was rude and inappropriate, and I just want to say I apologize for it.
"It's funny, because I got an earful from my mom. That’s how I was raised and I appreciate you guys for understanding."
It's still unclear what Mariota said that warranted the apology, but watch for yourself here to try to find what his mother scolded him for:
"I've been hurting our team. I have to find ways to get better."
