Head coach Bruce Arians doesn't know if Adrian Peterson will be back in an Arizona Cardinals uniform this season.
Arians said he has "no idea" if Peterson, who has missed the last two games with a neck injury, will return for his team's final three contests, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Peterson, in his 11th season, has rushed for 448 yards with two touchdowns in six games for the Cardinals this year after being traded from the New Orleans Saints. This is the fourth time in five seasons that Peterson has not been active for all 16 games.
The 32-year-old could easily be cut by the Cardinals after the season as he will have a $3.5-million cap hit with no money guaranteed.
