Dallas Cowboys owner/general manager Jerry Jones made the whole world aware of his displeasure regarding the extension of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell's contract.
Immediately before the finalization of the deal, Jones motioned to have contract talks pushed back another six months, according to ESPN's Seth Wickersham.
Jones' suggested plan would still allow him to raise concerns over Goodell's ability to level discipline and other issues at the NFL's Special League Meeting on Wednesday.
League sources suggested to ESPN that Jones' intentions could shift to campaigning for other significant staffing changes among the league's vice presidents.
