Buffalo Bills quarterback Nathan Peterman was taken to the locker room with a head injury during the third quarter of Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Peterman dove headfirst while scrambling and collided with Colts linebacker Antonio Morrison. He was slow to get up before leaving the field and was replaced by Joe Webb.
The rookie Peterman went 5-for-10 for 57 yards and a touchdown, connecting with Kelvin Benjamin on an 8-yard strike for the game's lone score.
Logan Thomas, who has pro experience at quarterback and now features at tight end, would likely serve as the Bills' emergency signal-caller if Webb gets injured.
