Carolina Panthers tight end Greg Olsen, who's been limited to just one quarter of action since Week 2 of the season, returned to practice Wednesday.

"There's not going to be a pitch count as far as the number of plays," head coach Ron Rivera said of his tight end against the Minnesota Vikings, according to The Associated Press.

Olsen originally broke his foot in the Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills and was placed on injured reserve. He made his return against the New York Jets in Week 12, but has been sidelined ever since with renewed soreness in the foot.
