Shazier transferred to Pittsburgh hospital for further tests

Injured Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier has been transferred to a hospital in Pittsburgh, the team announced Wednesday.

Shazier suffered what's believed to be a spinal contusion in Monday night's road game against the Cincinnati Bengals. He's continuing to receive medical attention, and the team won't update his status until he undergoes further evaluations.
