Roger Goodell offered some clarification Wednesday after a statement from NFL spokesman Joe Lockhart that the commissioner would retire after his contract ends in 2024.
"I haven't made any determinations," Goodell said about retiring at the owners meetings, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Goodell has been NFL commissioner since 2006 and signed a five-year extension earlier this week worth roughly $40 million per year through 2024.
