Wentz out for rest of game vs. Rams with knee injury

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's back-and-forth game against the Los Angeles Rams with a knee injury, the team confirmed.

The signal-caller was evaluated in the sideline tent shortly after connecting with wideout Alshon Jeffrey on a 2-yard score, and then went to the locker room unassisted.

Nick Foles took over under center.

The severity of Wentz's injury has not yet been confirmed.
