Ex-Giants WR Burress on Eli Manning being benched: 'They did my boy dirty'

Former New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress became the latest player to come to Eli Manning's defense after it was announced the veteran quarterback would be benched for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders.
Manning's 210-game consecutive start streak will be snapped as a result and numerous former players and coaches weighed in to defend the Giants legend.
Burress echoed that displeasure on Saturday.

Manning will be replaced by Geno Smith as the Giants look to put a positive spin on their 2-9 season.
