Tampa Bay Lightning forward Cedric Paquette was dealt a one-game suspension for boarding Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug, the NHL Department of Player Safety announced Thursday.
The incident in question took part in the second period of Wednesday night's game and saw Paquette assessed a minor for boarding on the play.
The one-game ban means Paquette will miss Saturday's contest against the San Jose Sharks. He'll be eligible to return Tuesday against the New York Islanders.
