Russell Okung latest to drop out of Players Coalition

Los Angeles Chargers tackle Russell Okung added his name to the growing list of players who have dropped out of the Players Coalition.

The eight-year vet released a statement on Twitter on Thursday morning, decrying the decision-making process that led to a partnership between the NFL and a group of players that will result in a $100-million contribution to social justice causes over a span of seven years.

NFL safeties Eric Reid and Michael Thomas dropped out of the Players Coalition on Wednesday. Reid claimed coalition member Malcolm Jenkins kicked Colin Kaepernick out of the group, but Jenkins stated Kaepernick asked to support the players in an informal capacity.
